Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Builders: Name, email, company name, project details, draw schedules, investor records, compliance documents, and subscription billing data.

Investors: Name, email, accreditation status, signed SEC disclosures, investment capacity, and identity documents uploaded for verification. Anonymous matching profiles contain only capacity ranges and preferences — no PII until mutual match is confirmed.

Realtors: Name, email, license number, market area, professional credentials, and connection history.

2. Anonymous matching privacy

Investor identities are protected by our anonymization system throughout the entire matching process. Real names, contact information, and company details are stored separately from the matching profile. They are only revealed to a builder after both parties have confirmed a mutual match. No investor's identity is ever disclosed without their explicit consent.

3. SEC retention requirements

All compliance-related data — including signed SEC disclosures, accreditation certifications, subscription agreements, and investor identity documents — is retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with SEC Regulation D recordkeeping requirements. This data may not be deleted upon user request during the retention period.

4. Third-party services

• Stripe — Payment processing. Billing data is stored on Stripe's servers. We do not store credit card information.
• Supabase — Database and file storage. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery for notifications, compliance alerts, and match notifications.

5. Data rights

Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting legal@fundbuildsell.com. Deletion requests are subject to SEC retention requirements for compliance data.
